Dr Yinhuan Dong is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Edinburgh working on AI-enabled digital health technologies for neurodegenerative conditions including MND/ALS. His research focuses on using everyday devices, multimodal sensing, and responsible AI methods to support decentralised monitoring and real-world understanding of disease progression.

Prior to joining the Anne Rowling Clinic, Yinhuan worked in the School of Engineering at the University of Edinburgh, where he led translational research and innovation activities in AI and digital health. His work has included co-design with patients and healthcare stakeholders, the development of digital care technologies, and interdisciplinary collaboration across academic, clinical, and healthcare settings.
