December 2021:  Arrangements for NHS and research appointments over Christmas and Hogmanay. 

NHS Lothian Clinics

The Clinic, including the Clinic reception desk, will close at 3pm on Thursday 23rd December and will reopen at 8am on Wednesday 5th January.  The Clinic will be closed throughout this period, there will be no staff on site.

If you are needing advice about your condition and your call is not urgent, please call your specialist nursing team. This will be a voicemail service and your call will be returned. Please do not additionally call our reception as this is not manned over the Christmas closure period.

Research Appointments

Our research department will also close at 3pm on Thursday 23rd December and will reopen at 8am on Wednesday 5th January. 

We have an on-call team who can answer essential questions about your participation in either MS-STAT or MND-SMART.  Please call 0131 465 9517, leave a message and one of the team will call you back. Please make sure you leave your name, trial name and number to call you back on as staff will be accessing this remotely.

In an emergency where you are being treated in hospital or by a GP, please follow the advice you have been given on your trial contact card.
