Clinic appointee to the Commission on Human Medicines

August 22: Congratulations to Prof David Hunt on being appointed as an expert government advisor on human medicines.
Professor David Hunt, Chair of Neuroinflammation medicine at the University of Edinburgh and Deputy Director of the Anne Rowling Clinic, been appointed to the Commission on Human Medicines (CHM) to serve for four years.
The CHM provides independent expert advice to ministers on the safety, quality, and efficacy of medicines. In total nine new commissioner appointments were made, including Professor David Dockrell, Chair of Infection Medicine at the University.
I am delighted to be able to contribute to the crucial public health role of the CHM and I very much look forward to working with colleagues to help ensure medicines in the UK are safe and effective.
