Clinic team stride out to raise funds

April 2021: The team of staff from the Clinic will take part in the Kiltwalk between 23 and 25 April.
Nine members of staff from the Anne Rowling Clinic, along with young recruit Samuel, will join other fundraisers to take part in this year's virtual Kiltwalk.
The team is made up of Amy Stenson, Emily Beswick, Liz Elliot, Christine Weaver, Pam Macdonald, Rachel Burrow, Charis Wong and Deborah Forbes alongside Hanne Skafle Haagenrud and her son Samuel.
They will be taking on the challenge of walking and cycling to raise awareness and funds for research at the Anne Rowling Clinic. Each team member is taking on a different length of challenge including cycling 200km and walking 26.7 miles. All activities will be within the Covid stay local rules.
The team were motivated to take part in the event as they are always amazed at the generosity of the community fundraisers who continue to support the vital research at the Clinic, especially during this very difficult time. By taking part in this year's Kiltwalk the team hope to inspire other fundraisers in the future to help people living with neurodegenerative diseases such as multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, Parkinson's and early dementias.
