Long Covid study features on Panorama
July 2021: BBC Panorama's recent coverage of Long Covid included research led by Professor Alan Carson that is taking place in the Clinic.
Journalist Lucy Adams' struggle with Long Covid was the subject of BBC One's Panorama last night (Monday 12th July).
Within the programme Lucy visited the Anne Rowling Clinic and met with Professor Alan Carson to participate in a Long Covid research study. Lucy underwent a number of tests including an MRI.
It is hoped that this research project led by Professor Cardon will establish clear clinical explanations for patients' cognitive impairment in Long Covid. This will enable the provision of effective treatment by healthcare practitioners to patients.
