Neuroinflammation 2023: Neurolupus and beyond meeting

Nov 2023: Successful two day meeting for clinicians, clinician-scientists and scientists working in the field of immunological disease, with a focus on rare and neglected neuroinflammatory disorders was held in Edinburgh.
Earlier this month the Anne Rowling Clinic hosted a two day meeting "Neuroinflammation 2023: Neurolupus and beyond" at the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh. The meeting was attended by over 90 clinicians, doctors-in-training, and scientists from across the UK.
Supported by the Medical Research Foundation, the main focus of the meeting was on neurological disease in lupus and systemic immune disorders. There was a mixture of clinical and research talks, panel discussions and educational cases. The meeting was particularly suited to trainees in neurology and internal medicine specialties, as well as scientists in this field.
Neuroinflammation 2023 was led by Professor David Hunt, Wellcome Senior Clinical Fellow and Head of Neuroinflammatory Medicine, University of Edinburgh.
