New faces join the Anne Rowling Clinic

Sept 2023: Meet the new staff that have recently joined the Clinic over the last few months.
We are delighted to have new staff joining both the Anne Rowling Clinic's research team and also new staff joining the growing NHS Lothian multiple sclerosis specialist nursing team.
Dr Sai Arathi Parepalli
Rowling Clinical Research Fellow
Sai joined the research team at the Anne Rowling Clinic in August 2023 as a Clinical Research Fellow. Sai has had a keen interest in research throughout her medical career with interests in the development of digital technologies to help improve both clinical care provision and clinical research.
Lucy McLennan
Graduate Research Practitioner
Lucy will be working with the Clinic's trial management team on projects that aim to improve outcomes for people living with neurodegenerative conditions. Lucy will also be working with the Anne Rowling Clinic's research team helping to support recruitment and assessments for the Clinic's research projects.
Riana Ali
Research Practitioner
Riana joined the Anne Rowling Clinic in September 2023. She previously worked in a Clinical Research Facility for 5 years and has a background in clinical care. Riana will be working with the Clinic's research team across a wide variety of research projects.
Claire Dunn
NHS Lothian MS Specialist Nurse
Claire is one of the multiple sclerosis MS specialist nurses within NHS Lothian's Department of Clinical Neurosciences. Her previous experience includes neuro-medical and neuro-surgical wards, high dependency unit and neurology outpatients.
Cenardach Maciver
NHS Lothian MS Specialist Nurse
Cenardach joined the NHS Lothian MS Specialist Nurses team earlier this summer. Her previous experience includes working at the neuro-medical and neuro-surgical units at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.
Susan Wright
NHS Lothian MS Specialist Nurse
Susan has been working for NHS Lothian's Department of Clinical Neurosciences since 2009 before joining the MS specialist nursing team. Susan and the MS team are uniquely placed to be able to open up research opportunities for MS patients when they attend their appointments.
