Research Open Evening - successful return

Feb 2023: Popular open information evening makes its return in 2023.
Earlier this month the Anne Rowling Clinic and the Euan MacDonald Centre for Motor Neuron Disease Research opened the doors once more for people to come along to their joint Research Open Information Evening. The event has proved popular since the first event in 2014; when laboratory and clinic staff came together to share their research in a more public setting. The open information evening offers people the opportunity to come along and find out about the latest research and to ask any questions they may have about the research work being carried out at the Anne Rowling Clinic and the Euan MacDonald Centre.
The Covid pandemic meant a break in hosting the information evenings, but when restrictions allowed, planning began to hold the event again in the early part of the year. Despite the Scottish winter weather and light, over 50 people attended with over 20 research volunteers who talked, answered many questions, and demonstrated their current research.
We're grateful to everyone who came along on the night and to the volunteers and support staff who make these evenings a success. We're planning another Research Open Information Evening later this year!
