September research open evening success

Sept 2019: Visitors joined staff and researchers to learn more about the activities of the Clinic.

Another great night was had at our most recent research open evening, held alongside researchers from the Euan MacDonald Centre for MND research.

Visitors on the evening were treated to an array of different stands hosted by enthusiastic doctors, nurses and researchers. Those attending heard more about the aims of the Clinic and the different projects underway. Also people living with neurological conditions were able to sign up to take part in research studies they'd learnt more about.

The virtual reality tour of the Edinburgh University labs was of great interest to many people and there was amusement at the plasticine motor neurone that helped explain one of the complex systems under investigation.

Visit our Facebook page to see more pictures from the night and keep and eye on the events page of our website for when we release the date of our next evening.
