Apr 2025: Watch a recording of the recent Belinda Weller Distinguished Lecture.

On Tues 11th March 2025 we held the inaugural Belinda Weller Distinguished Lecture as part of the Neuroimmunology and MS 2025 meeting in Edinburgh. This meeting which was hosted by Prof David Hunt, at the John McIntyre Conference Centre, University of Edinburgh, saw approximately 100 delegates gather to discuss the latest developments in care and research in MS and neuroimmunological diseases.

The Lecture was held in honour of our colleague and much missed friend Dr Belinda Weller. Belinda ran the NHS Lothian multiple sclerosis service for many years and was instrumental in the development of MS research at the Anne Rowling Clinic. The inaugural lecture was given by Prof Jacqueline Palace, University of Oxford and was entitled "MOG antibodies and demyelinating disease". The in-person lecture was attended by Belinda's family and friends, colleagues, patients previously cared for by Belinda and research participants. It was also live-streamed.
