Sept 2024: Anne Rowling Clinic randomises its 40th participant for the Octopus clinical trial in Edinburgh

Earlier this month the Clinic was delighted to randomise their 40th participant to the Octopus clinical trial. Octopus is a revolutionary MS clinical trial that will transform the way treatments are tested for progressive multiple sclerosis. The Octopus clinical trial is the first multi-arm multi-stage trial (MAMS) for MS.

The MS research team at the Anne Rowling Clinic have been recruiting participants to the trial since June 2023 and celebrated the 40th participant randomised to the trial with coffee and cake.

The Octopus team at the Clinic would like to thank all the participants who have kindly given their time to help make progress in this important MS trial.
