FutureMS Lived Experience Panel

Meet some of the members of the FutureMS patient advisory group, who help us shape the project and ensure that FutureMS continues to address questions that matter most to people living with MS.

I'm delighted to be taking part in the patient experience panel. It's a great opportunity to find out how the FutureMS study is developed and shaped, and how it continues to generate knowledge that will improve the lives of people with MS.

I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis eight years ago. Since then, it has changed my perspective in a positive way, encouraging me to make the most of what I can do and to push myself to try new things. It has helped me use my energy to enjoy new experiences, including climbing and skiing trips in the UK and abroad—things I might not have done otherwise—as well as wee adventures closer to home. Most of all, it has helped me focus on what I can do rather than what I can’t.

I live with MS and share my journey through everyday life, finding strength and clarity in nature and walking with my dogs.
Being part of the Lived Experience Panel allows me to give something back and help others feel less alone.
