Jill joined the Anne Rowling Clinic as a Senior Research Nurse in February 2024. 

Jill received a Bachelor of Adult Nursing degree from the Robert Gordon’s University, Aberdeen in 2018, She has completed further studies at the University of Glasgow, receiving a Merit grade Master of Advanced Nursing Science Specialising in Acute and Critical Care. In addition, Jill had the opportunity to develop her clinical research skills by conducting her MSc dissertation which aimed to answer the research question “How Effective are Self-Management Interventions in Supporting the Overall Quality of Life in Adults who have Multiple Sclerosis?” as this was meaningful to her.

Prior to joining the Anne Rowling Clinic, Jill worked across three Scottish NHS health boards gaining extensive experience in both emergency/acute medicine and clinical research nursing before deciding to specialise in neurology research specifically. Jill's main research interests lie in precision medicine and she looks forward to gaining additional knowledge and skills to support this field.
