Riana Ali

Riana joined the Anne Rowling Clinic in September 2023 as a research practitioner. She has an extensive background in clinical care of over 18 years. For five of those years she was employed in the Edinburgh Clinical Research Facility. She has a wide range of previous nursing posts within NHS Lothian including Medicine for the Elderly, the Acute Stroke Unit, Community Palliative Care and the Colorectal Surgical Unit. Riana has also worked as MDT co-ordinator for the hepatobilary unit, which covers the whole of Scotland.

Riana has a keen interest in neuroregenerative research, and as part of the Clinic's research team she will be assisting with a range of study visits and assessments.
