People with various neurological conditions develop weak neck muscles, leading to discomfort and restricted movement. Ideally a head support would help to alleviate these problems but researchers found that head supports currently available were of limited use.
This study tested a new head support called the ‘Sheffield Support Snood’ that was developed in collaboration with people living with MND, their families and MND healthcare professionals.
